Year in Review: ‘Farewell 2022, Welcome 2023’ (Grow ELC Blacktown)

As the year comes to a close, we would like to share with you, some of our memories and experiences that have helped us, and our knowledge GROW in the past 12 months. We’ve had over 20 special events this year, and we’ve highlighted a few of them just for you…

Easter Celebrations – Living Eggs: This is one of children’s most exciting experiences of the year! From eggs arriving in a box, to chicks walking around in our learning environments, and everything in between, this experience provides children with great learning opportunities, not to mention the emotional support of making new cuddly friends!

Easter Celebrations – Easter Hat & Easter Egg Basket Making: Another great experience for children and families as they came together in our learning environments to make memories that will last forever. Surely, a lot to celebrate!

Fathers’ Day: Celebrating the amazing work of our Fathers with games, dancing and surprise prizes!
Mothers’ Day Week: Children pampering their Mothers and showing them lots of love, care and appreciation in a fun, engaging, entertaining and very special way!
Grandparents’ Week: We invited all our grandparents to share memories together in our learning environments, and show them how much we appreciate everything they do for their grandchildren.

NAIDOC Week: Celebrating the histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people this NAIDOC Week by inviting and welcoming the Elders of our community.

Graduation Ceremony: One of our most emotional events of the year. As much as we are sad to let them go, we are very proud of all our Graduates and their developments and achievements. We appreciate and will cherish every opportunity we had with them at the beginning of their life-long educational journey. Congratulations to all our 2022 Graduates and their families!

End-of-Year & Christmas Celebrations – With these events, we brought an end to an amazing, eventful, joyful, playful and an educational year!

Children: The children celebrated this year with their End-of-Year concert performance for their parents, circle games, dancing, disco, party games and photos with their family and friends.

Educators: Team Grow Blacktown celebrated their success and hard work with a few different events during the month of December.
