November was a busy month for us here at Grow ELC Killarney Vale as we prepare for our end-of-year festivities. During November, the focus was on preparing our graduating children for their graduation event. Every day, the children sang songs and practiced their performances for their families. They have thoroughly enjoyed the practices and have shared their ideas and input into the event preparation.
At Grow ELC, we empower our children to have a voice and share their ideas in matters which affect them. This was their event; their special performance, and we wanted them to do what they wanted for their performances. In the end, the children selected the songs and helped in creating the dance moves to the songs. On Graduation Day, our children had a wonderful time performing for their families followed by a disco and luncheon. We are sad to see our wonderful preschoolers leave, but we are also excited for their bright futures and adventures in their future school years ahead.
