First of all, we welcome all our new and existing families back for another fun and exciting new year! This year, Grow ELC Killarney Vale is striving to empower our children and families in working together for a brighter future.
This is a fantastic time of the year for us all, with the children commencing their next stages of education and development. Our Educators are planning and including many stimulating learning experiences to our curriculum to enable children to gain knowledge and motivation so that they can enhance their development.
Our educators use information gathered from child observations and discussions to get to know each child’s strengths, interests and areas of development. They will create plans for each child and set goals for their learning across the year. Throughout the year, we offer parent/teacher interviews for families to discuss their child’s progress and development. If you ever have any concerns about your child or would like to chat about how they are going, you are welcome to arrange a time to speak with our Room Leader Educators throughout the year.
At Grow ELC Killarney Vale, our educators pride themselves in providing the highest quality education and care for your child. We know that for some children, starting care for the first time can be stressful for both the child and their family members. I would like to take the time to assure you that our educators take extra measures to help your child to adjust to the change by giving them extra one-on-one time with an educator who is calm and sensitive to their needs. We will show them how to play with all our resources and activities, and take time in getting to know your child. We will help them feel a sense of belonging, and praise and compliment them on their efforts. Our educators are honest when communicating with our families and create strong relationships with them.
